What would you say to him if he was to do a walk in your store? shake his hand? cough or sneeze his way? ask him to show you the money? And you can say or do anything cause you have another job lined up so losing this one doesnt matter.
I would treat Rodney like I treat any Store manager or Coordinator, with respect. Like a human being. He puts on his pants one leg at a time just like me. I don't care how much money he makes or how well he lives. He made choices in his life that put him there. He took the risk and gets the reward. If you want to be a CEO and have a CEO bank account, then start doing something with yourself to get you in that position. Stop whining about how much CEOs make, become a CEO yourself. Kroger has enough babies on payroll.
I am a night grocery manager. My store managers treat me very well. We are in the top 5 in sales in the Division(130+/- stores) for the last couple of months. I work 8 hours and get paid for 8 hours. I work overtime when necessary. I agreed to the payrate. I agreed to do the job. I am paid well for what I do and enjoy my job most of the time. The hardest part is when grown adults(my coworkers) don't feel like working so they call in. Or, when I have to do all the thinking because people lack common sense, motivation and decision making abilities. Some nights, I am surrounded by village idiots.
I had 10 call ins during the week last week. My coworkers gave 80 hours back to kroger because they could care a less if they have a job or not. These sales and hours are not going to last forever. They need to take them while they are available.
I would tell him that he is a no-count, heartless, greedy, thieving, chicken-****, slimy, coke-sniffing bastard of a ****up and with a damnable finality tell him that he needs a good ass kicking for every employee that has died from the virus, is still sick from the virus, and took money out of their pockets.
I would treat him with respect until he disrespected me. If he came at me with a 'holier than thou' attitude and started to speak to and treat me with utter disrespect, then I would suggest that he take his highly undeserved bonus and give it to the hardworking employees that DO deserve it. And if he fired me, I would just say, "I do NOT give a d@mn because I got this AMAZING job lined up.
Id be nice and polite to him like anyone else but I also hate him and wish he cared about the people working his stores that keep his company making the money that gets him his millions for his salary and that he wanted us to make more money so we can afford stuff as well as feed our famlies which he doesnt have to worry about.
