And read the part about the "laughably inaccurate" readings.........and how the employees would be DEAD if they were accurate!!!

Everyone taking temps should've taken HIPAA WBL training.

At my store we only check off a list so we know who to expect for a temp check.

Other stores seem to depend on the associates tracking down whoever has the thermometer on the sales floor.

If someone asks immediately for their temperature, I show it to them.  It's my understanding it's protected health information we're required to disclose to the individual.

The laughably low results mentioned in the article means they are too far away from the person.

People in my store can't take temps until they have had the HIPPA training! Why doesn't other stores do this?

My store is horrible at taking temps. I wonder if kroger will eventually be sued because it's taking temps without hippa training.

The thermometer readings are a joke and show irl if they were accurate you'd be hypothermic and die

At my store, it's the responsibility of the employee to seek out management and have their temperatures taken.

Except skin temperature with an infrared thermometer.

Who would have expected every single employee to be hypothermic in 90-100+ degree heat?

I guess that means none of us have the Rona.  That's quite a relief.  I was afraid I'd have to shoot up some bleach or something.

Or, at least I probably don't have it.  There's no checklist or anything silly like that, so there's been a week or two here and there where I've forgotten to get checked and nobody noticed.  Oops.

If I still worked for these bastards and had to have a temperature check I'd eat a popsicle before coming into work.
Then see how big my supervisor's eyes can get when the temperature reads 82 degrees.

Well, this being a good article to reading

 https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/briannasacks/grocery-workers-coronavirus-temperature-checks

It lets representatives stay mysterious out of dread of the counter. In the same way as other different retailers, the Harris Teeter supermarket chain is currently directing warm screenings to guarantee laborers are not coming in debilitated and making them answer different inquiries regarding their wellbeing.
