Does Kroger even HAVE a riot plan?

Yes, keep working until you are not able to keep working safely.

Rioters and looters don't want to fight anyone. They just want to scare people with damage and steal everything they can.

Use common sense. If you see danger coming, go the other way. Pay attention to your surroundings and turn off earbuds. Know where all the emergency exits are. If a looter wants to know where the meat or razors are, make sure you know the correct aisles. Don't be a hero. Keep mouth shut. Just let looters take what they want and get out of danger.

Well, that is my plan anyways.

Do not stop them from looting. Most of them want to run in grab and go. Do not stop them from taking ANYTHING. EVEN YOUR OWN property. Phones, tablets can be replaced. Cars can be repaired.

Sometimes you can even "root them on" to make them think you are on their side. Just be sure to stand aside out of their way.

Do not challenge, harass, or antagonize them in anyway whatsoever.

The only major thinks they will try to go after would be Liquor, RX, Meat maybe some high priced OTC goods. If no one is around, they might try to take something to a register or SCO...to get the $$$. These people are opportunists, not masterminds, say boo and most will run away.

I'm not saying ANYTHING to ANY rioters that will get them worked up. Yes, chances are they will not bother you (unless really worked up), but why take the chance. Your best bet is to keep your mouth shut and stay out of their way.

Your correct, I haven't seen a riot in person. Your confusing a riot and looting, which are not the same thing. OH, I'm not planning to be in any riot's, and most companies shut down their stores and send associates home beforehand. Around me the area that a riot might have occurred, the store closed as 2:30 pm, before anything remotely happened. While a riot may get attention, looting isn't going to change the issues outcome. In today's business environment, it might simple have the business not plan to reopen. No one should assume any company will replace a store or reopen after their store was destroyed.

The company is basically a gang so they think in pretty much military terms. You are expendable, liability insurance premiums are not, so they will carefully document any protective measures. Looters are a rival gang.

Have grocery stores ever been looted in the past? Surely humanity cannot be this stupid...... to destroy the main food sources in the communities. It's like poisoning the only water well in the village.

Looting is nothing new. Looting of grocery stores in particular has happened often during major riots (and since grocery stores, as such, have existed).

Of course looting is nothing more than organized stealing. The individual looters feel emboldened and relatively safe from prosecution among a group of others all doing the same thing. They all forget a very important commandment: THOU SHALT NOT STEAL !

Agreed. Forget about the 'Zombie apocolypse' or 'Alien Invasions', humanity will wipe itself out and take the sensible people with them and theres not a d@mn thing the intelligent people can do about it.

Cheer up. You are ABSOLUTELY WRONG! The end times ARE HERE. BUT things will not end up the way you might be thinking. According to the Bible (which prophesies many things) we will go through the worse times EVER in the history of the world as we get closer to the end of this dispensation, BUT there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Things will get bad for a while, but then the final ending is GOOD, not bad.
