If a manager gets snarky at me about something, I'm allowed to be snarky right back, correct?
A manager wanted something done but it wasn't possible under the current procedures. If I reply back and explain why it wasn't possible but could be possible under a different procedure would it be appropriate to quit after that day is over if the manager said something like "I don't care what you think" comment as if I'm about to be fired?
I think think the dumbest people in society gravitate toward management positions and it's all about them instead of the company. I hate these people.

Why not just go in tomorrow and go ahead and quit?
Administration and management doesn't attract smart people. It attracts bootlickers and those who want to push people around aka sociopaths.
Don't quit because you dislike your management; they come and go in the blink of an eye.
Not liking my manager was one reason I quit. It may not always be a good reason but was good enough for me. I just felt like it was time to go. When 2019 started I knew then I wanted to be out by the end of that year.
It was my New Years resolution. First time I ever really did a resolution. But this man I never like him from the beginning. He had a smart "I know everything I am never wrong attitude" And at the time it was looking like he wasn't going anywhere. There was one before him just as bad that one day cussed at me.
I respect you and do my job as you asked I expect to be treated back with respect.
A lot of what happened had to do with the compactor being broken for weeks and weeks and shopping carts of trash left out with maggots flies and all other kind of grossness.
This post may give out who I really am but I do not care anymore. I still have pictures of all that trash that was left also shopping carts left in the back room a bunch of them with trash. Now who wouldn't be pissed? I am telling you this went on for awhile. I was also told I had to get down on my knees and scrape bubble gum off the sidewalk. They gave me some king of spray that was supposed to freeze it then easily scrape up. But it wasn't that easy but the manager knew it all and said it would come up. He also wanted the sidewalk power washed and he wanted it to be solid white like it was new just put down. Now this is enough ranting I may post more if asked.

Go ahead and do the task the way they want. If it blows up in their face, oh well. They can just fix it and maybe figure out that you made a point.

You talking about the President? There's a guy in The White House who is JUST like that...He's never admitted he was sorry about ANYTHING yet (For all the naysayers, go find me a video of him crying REAL tears about something REALLY IMPORTANT...THAT should keep you busy for a while!)...And yes, they may have to forcibly remove him if November doesn't go HIS way...
Well, I've got NEWS for him and every other sociopath of a manager I've ever had the opportunity to work for...Things ARE changing!!! And things will KEEP changing!!! I've worked with MANY of them over many years and like BagBoy says, "They come and go in the blink of an eye!"...They DO and OFTEN...and guess what...I'M STILL HERE and just like every protester out there around the country and the world, I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!! DEAL WITH IT!!!
I've learned a long time ago that if you want things to change, you're gonna have to GIVE A DAMN or nothing will change...
give me a break. they've said that about every president for the last 20 years who is up for reelection or termed out.
this one deserves to be reelected more than most. things are changing for the better because of him. you don't see it because you're believing what you're told but unless you want these riots to go on or more anarchy "free zones" like in Seattle, you better hope he's reelected and this nonsense is put down. if you value freedom and hard work and don't care who is sleeping with who or what anybody looks like then you should be voting for the President
sometimes an attitude is what it takes to get things done. I'm usually very easy going. when I push back I'm called awful things and moody. No, it just means I'm tired of folks taking advantage, slacking off and making me do their jobs too. When I ask someone to do something that's their job they better do it and not give me push back. They don't get to tell me how to do my job because they want to play on their phone, be an hour late, call off for BS reasons or want to go hang out in other depts
If you have to talk back but make it professional. Don't take crap. If policy is policy don't let them make you look bad in front of a customer. Chew their ear off. If you can do it professionally.
