Getting tired of this s-h-i-t.

I'm not going along to get along.  I'm nice and respectful to the LGBTQ community, but I'm not going to wear a rainbow shirt and help advocate for their lifestyle by supporting their causes either at work doing business promotions or after work.

Can't believe the headquarters of Kroger (Cincinnati) has a minor league hockey team doing the gay pride crap -- 93e1fee1-972d-4afd-946a-77ffffc6d8901.jp

What's next?  Antifa night?  Going to promote Antifa at Kroger?

Has anyone said you had to wear a shirt supporting it? Is Kroger really doing this? Let them try it in my community they will probably loose customers. Also if an employee is a Christian Kroger cannot make them wear anything like this.

I am gonna keep my opinion to myself. I could post some Archie Bunker video's on what he thought.

I am glad I am not at Kroger anymore.

I took a break from lodging in this forum actually about 1 month and just decided to come back.

Times have certainly changed; if that same woman were to release a video of herself licking Blue Bell ice cream today, they'd put her face on a stamp or erect a statue in her honor! Blue Bell would turn her video into a national commercial advertising campaign! #icantbreathewithmyfaceinthisbluebell

Our store has various "Pride" merchandise (no t-shirts thank god) we have pins, hairbands, wrist thingies, beads, etc. As a conservative Christian, I do not approve of such items.

As a Christian I love everyone. I just don't approve of that lifestyle. It said's in the Bible man shall not lay with man ETC. I am not gonna break a Bible out and preach on here. It's not the place maybe I went too far and you got the wrong message. Remember as a Christian I am also a sinner and I make mistakes. But still if I worked for Kroger they could not make me support Gay pride and make me wear a shirt because that shirt would be supporting a "group" if it was any group like a Christian group would Kroger support it?

Not informing a family member/close friend who acts out on their same sex attraction who is destined for hell is not loving but cruel.

You forgot the last sentence...."Go now and sin no more."  -Jesus Christ

I'm a Christian and straight. And I've worked with all types of people, many of whom I didn't know how their personal life was and I never asked. This is what I've learned in all my years.

1: Regardless of one's race, skin color, way of thinking, gender, quirks, sexual orientation, opinions, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, when they clock in they are a co-worker. No more. No less.

2: As long as they do the job and not cause any problems, I'm okay with them.

3: Whatever they do outside the job, it's their life.

4: Once I'm clocked out, it's me time.

I'm not a homophobe or GLBT basher in anyway whatsoever. It's their life and their choice, and NOBODY has ANY right to tell them otherwise. But unfortunately if they stand up for their beliefs, they are often bashed on by other people, often in groups because the "normal-straight" folk THINK that it's an abomination and worse, if the LGBT community have the audacity to stand up for what they believe.

Leave them thr h*ll alone. If their lifestyle offends you, deal with it or ignore them.

 Nice try.

The LGBTQ philosophy does not withstand the rigors of a professional debate.  It falls flat.

Now, if you don't mind I'm going to marry my pet dog.

TRUTH! And with the BLM riots no one is paying any attention to Pride.

I'm sorry but one of my immediate managers was a gay man...I'm a Christian person, and although I might disagree with certain things about people, I am not about disrespecting a manager, especially one who was fair towards everyone and treated us all with respect...You guys might think differently if you had a manager like I did...We all didn't care...We did our jobs and went home...I still do my job and go home...It's what I'm PAID to do!!! The workplace is generally not the place for arguments with people anyway...

If someone doesn't like it, why aren't they out in the streets protesting like everyone else???

As we are seeing with the issue of race, some people will use any reason at all to make themselves feel superior and to make others feel inferior and say that THEY are in the right...How do they know that their SUPERIORITY (AKA DOMINATION, AUTHORITY & VOCIFERATION) over others is right??? They are not even TRYING to understand others (or even get along somehow and/or treat them with dignity) and even if they are not violent themselves, they still won't condemn the violence properly when it happens...And when something tragic DOES happen, where is their moral compass then??? Do they not know that an injustice ANYWHERE is a threat to justice EVERYWHERE???

Many people are now noticing the disparities, the inequalities and the injustices going on and things ARE changing!!! And they are seeing a lot of open hate disguised as patriotism, duty or truth, when it's far from ANY of those things...I don't have to like what someone does or even what someone says, but I'll defend their right to say it and I'll defend their right to exist peaceably with others, free from violence...

Let's not forget that the Jews and Gentiles were notorious for not getting along, too...And don't get me started on Cain and Abel...As it says in Ecclesiastes, "there is NOTHING new under the sun", but people are finally taking off the glasses (aka blinders) and seeing the light with all that is REALLY going on in the world...

Don't believe me??? Go watch what's happening in the streets and get back to me on that...

 Do tell.

Meanwhile, you'll find that marrying your dog requires his/her/its consent, and is therefore problematic. Illogical extremism and non sequiturs are often the resort of a closed mind.

Eh.  All that ****'s in the Old Testament.  You know, that part that don't matter no more.  That part that Thomas Jefferson cut out with a razor blade and threw away.

It's right up there with wearing mixed fabrics and not eating shellfish nor pork.

You ever read what Jesus said about the gays?

No.

You didn't.

Because it wasn't one damn word.

He's hanging out with tax collectors and prostitutes, but them fags?  They gotta burn.

I guess the only question is, what would Barney Kroger think about the whole thing?  And, it probably wouldn't even matter because we don't have enough hours for that.

You are not forced to wear anything you don't want to. Just say a lie like you're "Christian" or something and bi-tch about it. Morally you are not forced to wear it. I am Christian and lgbt group will never make it to heaven. You can live, do and act how ever you like on Earth but once you're in God's kingdom you under his jurisdiction. lgbts will never inherit the kingdom of god. Don't believe me start watching heaven and hell experiences of gay people on youtube. You'll find there's a zero percentage that make it to heaven. All of their experiences are of hell. You can say **** it if you want but this is the truth. Jesus exists, thus his father exists and so too does the opposite.

Just remember that the meek shall inherit the earth and while we can all believe what we want to, the Good Book does say that the first shall be last and the last shall be first...I'm a little apprehensive about being first, because I may end up being last...Something to think about..."Whatever ye have done unto the least of these, ye have done it unto me", says Jesus...Consider the compassion he had towards the sick, the unclean, the demon-possessed and the lepers...Lepers would have been considered outcasts at the time, but not to Jesus who healed one of his leprosy...He was not afraid to love even the lost ones, the forgotten ones, the outcasts of society...Tax collectors, sinners and even the adulterous woman...And he certainly would not have advocated violence towards them..."He who is without sin cast the first stone"...Who do you think he died on the cross for??? Think about that...While we may not like what is going on, though, we have to be careful about discrimination based on anything, whether it be race, religion, sexual orientation, gender or any other classification as a general rule in society...If we can discriminate against them, who's to say that someone won't discriminate against us for our religious beliefs, say, one day...It works BOTH ways...

And we must be careful when it comes to Scripture, too, about reading one passage and overlooking the whole book...

I'm not perfect...NONE of us are, but I keep learning everyday...Something we ALL should do or at least strive to do!

God hides himself and reveals himself in simplicity to those who are Honest in heart, and who diligently search for Him with their whole heart, mind and soul.  The Creator, who is God, is hidden in simplicity. He reveals Himself in minor, little things.   Ever look down and notice a trivial, tiny, "unimportant" little blade of grass that you casually stepped on this morning without the slightest thought?

The mysterious biological Life hidden in one cell of that little blade of green grass is so vastly complicated (just one cell, not the entire blade), that the smartest scientists in the entire world don't have it all "figured out".  The intelligence behind the workings of JUST ONE CELL is more complicated than the most sophisticated computer system ever invented by the "smartest" scientists of the human race. How did that blade of grass come to fruition?

That Intelligence, the great Eternal One, the only Entity ( the Ultimate Source, the Beginning, the Absolute) that has always existed, never did begin, has always been alive, and can never, ever die, is the Great Eternal God, our Creator, who is that First Cause.

Because of Him, all things exist.  And The Word is hidden in simplicity. God allowed the Bible to be written and compiled in the form it now is, by his direction, (inspiring several dozen writers over about two thousand years time) in order to stumble the proud, the conceited and haughty and "know it alls".  Truth is hidden behind a facade of what some people would call just "silliness", "Jewish fables" or "old stories".    The so-called "smart" people, scholars, and "know-it-alls" will stumble over it, just like they trample that lowly blade of grass without a second thought.

I must say...There is a lot of truth right there...But, people have to think on a deeper level (and not just a superficial one) to get it...The world is indeed more complicated than we can fully understand...And yet, somehow, all that complication seems to work in sync, in a harmonious balance...And no one can tell me that that harmonious balance just existed without someone or something to make it exist, especially when you see how harsh the atmosphere is on other planets and yet we are thriving (or at least living) here on Earth in a very unique way...If we would only spend more time seeing the beauty in the world and the beauty of the people of the world, we might have a different understanding of life itself...You can explain away a lot of things, but the beauty, the diversity, the immense wonder, vastness and richness of this planet are a lot harder to explain away, be dismissive of or give the short shrift to...
