A problem manager who lies to get what she wants.

This manager is a real problem.  I have never had issues in my store, and have been there for over 15 years.  This manager singles out people that don't agree with her.   She harasses older people and tells them theyre too old to be working.  She picks on the people who have limits on their schedule, and to me personally has cut my hours so drastically that I cant pay my bills.  She decides who cant work together and who can, based on what lies shes made up. At least 4 people have left our store either quit or moved to another store.  She causes disharmony between coworkers, and has gotten supervisors to get involved in her unfair treatment of the people that she focuses on that she wants to get rid of.  She yells at the staff in front of the customers, and also yells at the customers on several occasions.  She also, when we start our shifts, will be in the vicinity of our departments so she can write us up on a lie.  Ive never been treated by anyone like this crazy woman.  There  is no reason for this kind of harassment by this manager, or by anyone.  Im not going to lose out on my retirement because the managers unstable and unfair.  Generally, Im a very patient person, but shes gone too far.

File a similar but more professionally written complaint with ethics hotline. File anonymously to keep the heat off because if she has a target to attack it will be you. I do this all the time or did when our fes became a dick to the front end staff. I belive this would be filed under harassment or discrimination. Do it don't let them win. If you're in an area with multiple other stores to transfer to transfer and hope they don't follow you. I did that then a few of my coworkers followed. Fu-ck I wanted to get away form them and they followed coincidentally 12 months later.

 I forgot to add on: try to write it hr professionally just in case they say wait a minute this person is slandering blah blah blah....

Get the union involved and secretly record her outbursts on a smartphone device hidden in your pocket (to pick up her voice). Get ahold of hr as well. If enough employees complain, they MIGHT transfer her to another store or get rid of her.
