What are some of the posts like? I won't go on there because you have to register and the company can trace posts and it's not anonymous.
Some people will never have any tact. Just like a person can't fix stupid.
I would not post anything on that site that is negative. Yes, it can bite you in the ass.
You can get onto the site if you have a Kroger Euid. I browse but never post.
Some people have posted their payroll complaints on the site.
Others have complained about how mean their store manager is or how so and so coworker is lazy.
Or, complained about prices or not getting a discount.
Really stupid stuff that should be be dealt with elsewhere.
The site is mostly a cheer site for comanagers and coworkers with free time and cameras to show off how great our people are and what a wonderful job they are doing to
increase the bottom line for the Kroger machine.
I don't need praise. I enjoy working hard. Just make sure my paycheck gets into my bank account. I am happy.
Yodel is the biggest brown nosing site on the Internet ever. They show unrealistic pictures of how things are going I would love to get on there and show pictures of blown out bunkers and holes everywhere in the store but Im sure I would get in trouble.
Its interesting how some people use it like Facebook and post some interesting non-business stuff. Yodel is a great place to share uplifting items that happens in the store, but I think its like most company program, under utilized. Too many times it used to just post "great" displays, which are basic at best. I'm surprised its hasn't been added to the checklist that each member or MGMT has to post 2x a week to it! Remember, if its not on the checklist, it most not be a company priority. Again own your store, but in reality your checklist and anything that falls about after the checklist is your a$$.
I can't access it at home and I never have time to access it at work. Apparently a manager took a picture of me and posted it on there about 6 months ago. (He only told me because I asked what he was doing)

Theres an app you can download
Anyone should be able to access yodel (yammer) at home. If you can check your schedule at home, make changes on your Time Off at home, look at your paycheck "check stub information" at home and print it off at home, you can also access Yodel. But you have to have your EUID and password, as always. This URL might work? ............. (tell me if it works OK)

I thought they couldnt do that unless they asked YOUR permission first. Maybe someone should do the same thing back to him and see how he handles it.

If you are a minor (under 18) that is a big NO NO! You had the right to tell him not to take your picture, I told that to the guy that came in my store several months ago who was taking pics for corporate.
