Kroger core values are: Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity,diversity, inclusion, and SAFETY. At my store there is a mask mandate from the city, county, and state. There are signs before you enter the store and after you enter the store that says a face cover is required. City, county, and state mandate says the mask must cover the mouth and nose. Company signage does not say that. Many customers do not wear a mask or do not cover their nose if a mask is worn.
I DO NOT FEEL SAFE.
If a customer comes up to me and asks me a question, I tell them I can not help you. You are not wearing a mask. I walk away. I believe my health and safety takes priority over customer interaction. I do not want to become infected by a socially incompetent customer.
I am tired of having "diversity" shoved down my throat. We just got a handout (thank god we didn't have to sign it) talking about ADA/discrimination/and it also mentions sexual orientation. I am a Christian and feel homosexuality is a choice-that I don't need to be "diversive" of or to accept.

Actually, you don't have to sign anything they hand you. Of course there are exceptions. When we had time sheets, you had to sign those to verify that you worked those hours. If you want to transfer, you have to sign that. But if it's some new policy or rule that they want you to read and sign, then forget it. Each time you sign something, it gives them more ammunition to use against you. Our HR person has learned not to even bother to ask me to sign stuff because she knows I won't.
We got that, too. We had one guy stalking another lady in their department. There are instances like that that are kept quiet. They started allowing employees to wear support BLM badges ans I put in my resignation. Only certain employees are wearing them and it looks, and is, very racist. Their core values mean nothing. SOP for corporations, profess one thing and do something else.

As far as protesters go, the Whites are worse than the Blacks. I hope Trump wins the election just so middle America can say a big F U to all the Liberals. Then, they should take all the protesters and ship them off to some remote area like Antarctica.
