People say this is not true. Some stations owned by Tegna has a Verify crew that supposedly verifies things to be true or not. They verified this to be not true, I wonder how much Kroger paid them? See the "BLM" Charge? Some reciepts show change shortage tax.

I don't automatically accept snopes.com as always fair and accurate (they usually lean left), but in this case, the receipt was photoshopped to make it read "BLM". Someone doctored an actual receipt to start a misinformation campaign.

What about the change shortage charge? I was at Taco Bell yesterday my total was $10.08. I gave them a $20.00 bill. She asked if I had 8 cent change I told her no sorry I took all my change out of my truck.
She then had the nerve to ask if I mind using a debit card. I told her I was not able to do that I am not gonna use a debit for under $20.00. Looks like Taco Bell is trying to get people to use debit cards. I always carry cash some people don't but I think it is a good idea but that pissed me off to even ask that. Come on do your job take my cash give me my change. She only gave me back $10.00. Looks like I charged them for believing there is a change shortage.

if I start seeing that at my store, I am going to start wearing my MAGA gear. I wholeheartedly support our president, our police and our troops. All lives matter. If we are going to be political at Kroger, ALL sides must be represented. Fair is fair.
