i work overnight stocking at first it wasn't that bad we left on time maybe stayed to condition a bit but now we can't get anything done on time. we are 5 people down due to the COVID-19 and the store manager is like we gatta get our **** together
my boss is like "look at the numbers, this aisle should only take you 30mins" bruhhhhhhhhhhh when we had a team it was no problem but we down 5 people and we got 3 people showing up to work while the boss upstairs doing stupid ****. The assistant manager ****ing off and 1 guy finding 6 wheelers another guy pulling pallets and me breaking down the truck. They have enough time to hire another sacker which by the way is in the restroom taking selfies... We got 3 custodians doing jack ****, bro I saw a jar of pickles broken at the same place for 2 weeks now -.-
In conclusion hire more stockers God damnit !

With Stocking and any "Task" based job the company is all about "Holding people accountable". Its fine to call people out for not being up to expectation, but once you are understaffed, you can't then expect the same people in the same amount of hours to complete the same task. Its a trickle down from District Managers, Store Managers are not allowed to say they are "understaffed", they just have to get it done. Its funny how the stocking expectations get higher and high, yet nothing has changed other then the expectations. Do more with less.......
If they could figure out how to get the customer to get the items off the truck or have a robot stock the shelves it would have been done already!
