What does it matter if I go to lunch 3 hours after my start shift or 4 hours? Yesterday, I started work at 10:00 am and got off at 7:00pm. My lunch was 1:30-2:30. 3˝ after I started. So I went at 2pm to 3pm. Three hours eating lunch after I start? No. I'm not hungry at that time. Plus 3 hours after my shift, leaves me with 5 hours worth of work when I get back. I NEVER do that. EVER.

I came back and a checker started asking me why I took my lunch at 2pm instead of 1:30. I told him that 3˝ hours after I start is too early for me. He gave me this "so what" look and just shook his head. Why are they so p*issed that I went at 4 hours after my shift?

If you're in the front end you follow a break schedule. But like most people you only think of yourself and **** every one else. Selfish fricken pig!

You are supposed to take your lunches as assigned. Not hungry at that time? Don't eat. Simple. Eat on your breaks. If you decide to go on lunch your 4th hour after starting when you were scheduled at 3 hrs, it can mess things up. If you are a bagger: carts sit until whenever you get back,  Spills go untouched, perishable go backs go bad, customers that need carry outs have to do it themselves, price checks are not done etc.

If you are a checker: lines pile up quicker, etc.

Long story short, no one gives a tin sh*t if you think early lunches Inconvenience you. Whenever you decide to take a lunch later than assigned, people have to do YOUR job because YOU weren't there. STOP THAT! TAKE LUNCHES AS ASSIGNED!

Pretty much spot on right here. Way to go by screwing over other people who started their shift earlier than you and it's actually their time to take a lunch. Seriously try practicing some self control when it comes to food. Such a self entitled *******.

You're telling me that you magically aren't hungry at 1:30 but by 2 you're starving and ready for lunch? At least you GET a break/lunch. Be happy that you have one.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk but you have a lot of stories on here and i never know what department you're in. One day you're a bagger, next day you're in the deli slicing boar's head? Now you're back to pushing carts? If you're cross trained in the whole store whats going on here?
