This happens several times a week. I'm almost 40 and I have customers a few years younger than me b-itch and complain about having to get their i.d. for an age restricted sale. You come into the store to buy booze. You know you're more than likely going to basked for i.d. You are say 32 and refuse to bring it in with you. Please stop being @$$ holes and tie up the line. You've been probably buying it since age 21 or got friends to buy it for you sooner. You know it is asked or requested each time. Please use your brain and stop being @$$ holes about it. If you look 35 or younger we have the right to ask. If you have your face covered up we have the right to request you to remove your sun glasses and hat. Mask not required though it helps. All I see now are eye balls so hell if I know people's ages any more.
you can reply if you want but I won't be checking back for reviews.
tobacco users please use words rather than grunt and point. A it's insulting and B this shows me that you're not intelligent.
We have one customer in our store who always "forgets" their ID. To make a long story short both me and my cashier told the women "we aren't going to jail for you!!" Here in Georgia we get "testers" all the time.
I wish all states would make providing an ID mandatory. Isn't the state to make laws the protect the greater good and cause others to have a slight inconvenience? (what laws normally do). Hell, they tell you to ID customers up to a certain age, but who is going to be able to tell a 20 apart from a 27 or 40 yo at times Technically, isn't the state law causing retailers to physically profile customers? I don't think people understand if something happens with a underage purchaser, the associate gets fired, ticketed and goes to court.

Maybe it was the same woman I had. This customer got mad when I told her I was not going to get fired or go to jail for an expired ID. (Over 3 years) she then said "I'm not sharing my salmon with you." To which I replied "So? I can but my own salmon." This woman then got enraged and started sating things that were all jumbled up before stalking out the door.

Not intelligent? You cant even distinguish a persons face with glasses on. And no @sshole if you don't ask to remove the mask then yo6hqxxu have no right to ask to remove ANYTHING!
I got bitched out one time and called a bitch because I carded a dude for cigarettes on Thanksgiving. Like he didnt know he'd get carded? Im sure theres some other place not carding him which is illegal. Im not getting arrested cause some loser wants to pay to give himself cancer.
Also got bitched by an old guy cause he got carded for a lighter I mean dude, its flammable. You think they wanna sell that to little kids? He bitched about the customer's always right when the machine asked for ID, I was like wut.
