They finally put a fence around the trash can that was not for Kroger to use. These were for the other businesses. But since I have been gone every time I go the gate was always open and a pile of trash was always piled around the can.
When I was working there I was told to pick it up even though no one from Kroger dumped it there. I told the Manager that it was not from Kroger but he did not care. I know some of the bags was from Great Clips because the bags were torn and you could see they were filled with hair. And that is the reason I quit going to Great Clips.
The person that would leave the fence open was the lazy ass trash truck driver. He wanted it open so he would not have to get out of the truck he could just drive up pick up dumpster and dump it in the truck.
I am glad I am gone and I don't know why but things still catch my eyes. I guess I was put through so much Hell that these things still catch my eye. Like trash is still all around the building blowing out in the parking lot. Buggies piled up behind the store some are damaged some are not they just get pushed and mixed up with the damages. Also a huge drain ditch buggies get pushed down the ditch. I am 47 and was 46 when the Manager told me to get them. I told him I was 46 years old and was unable to climb in the ditch. He said he did not care and told me to get someone to do it but I was responsible. Also bubble gum on the sidewalk he wanted me to get on my knees and scrape up. And he wanted the sidewalk power washed every week and wanted it white like it was new. And there are more reasons I left it's hard to believe it's been a year. I wish I did not even have to go wish we had another big chain store I could get things I need. I hope the images posted I have a bunch of pictures I took on things that happened still saved on my phone and I am gonna keep them just incase I ever need them.

I 100% felt everything you were describing. That manager was a dog dick and I hope he chokes on his vomit and DIES. I don't even know him, but I know all his clones, they're all from the same fetid feces farm.
Glad you made it out of there! Glad I got out of where I was at too---it'll be 5 years this January

Yes he was that but I personally don't wish anything like that on him. I do not hate anyone because I am a Christian. I just say God bless his heart and God bless his evil soul.
I did fall for his get on your knees and scrape bubble gum. He said it would come up real easy and had some kind of canned freeze stuff that he said it would scrape right up. But guess what? It wasn't that easy it was not gonna come up. Also he wanted me to get on my knees and pull weeds. Then said to get some roundup and spay and kill them.
There was something about round up some lawsuits about it causing cancer. He kelp telling me to check in floral department that they had round up. But I asked them several times the floral manager asked why do you keep asking. I told her because the manager is telling me you have it he said you were supposed to carry it. She told me Kroger did not sell it and that he was an idiot.
The lawsuit thing could be why it was not being sold anymore. Even the Assistant manager I know he wanted to jump in on my side and I understand why he didn't he had to keep his job.
But after I left something happened the Store manager got a meeting called and that Assistant Manager got fired. That same day I saw the store manager sitting by the road on his cell. I then saw him turn around going back toward the store. That day he was transferred to another store there was also another Assistant that was fired she was nice some days.
The day I worked all morning scraping some gum I was clocking out at 11 am she asked if I got finished. I said no she asked why I was leaving I said because I was supposed to get off at 9am. I was told on Sunday I could come in early and get off at 9am. My knees were hurting also people just don't know how bad it was me being there 25 years and being treated like that.
I am not sure if he had something against people that were a little slow or not or he just didn't like me for some reason. When I put in my notice I was very professional about it and was very nice to him.
Want to compete with a kroger brand store? YOU CAN! Do things properly, respect our work and the customers' needs, don't always violate the spirit of the law while testing it to see what you can get away with.
