It's really sad. Has anyone else really been paying attention to what has happened to this "Kroger Employee Forum" in the last couple years, and especially in the past few months?
90% (if not more) of the posts started by someone with a legitimate question, observation, or complaint gets hijacked and turned into a wasteful, meaningless and total BS thread with no redeeming value whatsoever. They are being hijacked by obvious trolls who are, in reality, probably just bored, lonely teenagers with a 9-year-old's sense of bathroom humor and with nothing more productive to do in their lives.
This has caused most Kroger employees who have any common sense to abandon this forum and go to the one on Reddit, which now seems to get about 10 times as much traffic and posts, and less BS, although they have some dumb crap there too. Sad. I like the Reddit forum, but actually prefer this one for it's simplicity in navigating and reading posts, and doing keyword searches for past posts that have meaningful info in them.
I find it interesting how most who make these types of complaints never themselves contribute any legit material to the forum. They're like Facebook lurkers. Just sitting there scrolling going 'meh,meh, meh, meh, meh..'

This is true with liven the place up a little. Some trolls have some good humor. OP this forum never gets loads of traffic on any day of the week. Some people on here dont even work at Kroger anymore. Heres a thought how about you do something better in your life and stop crying like a entitled baby and just ignore those posts? do you come here every day for Kroger news? if so then thats sad.

I have a fairly rich history of trolling here; a few months ago I was perpetrating a reign of terror, lol. Had a whole host of characters running amok all over this site. It became a contest with the admin here, and they proved just how commited they really were/are to purging all my posts. I finally got bored and moved on, but it's fun to come by for an occasional allumni appearance
We get about as much traffic as we always have, most of which are lurkers. Has it occurred to you that you have NO IDEA if I am a regular poster on this site, who I am, whether I am male or female, how old or young I am, how long I have worked for Kroger, how many hundreds of posts I might have written trying to help fellow Krogerites, or anything at all about me. You and a couple other trolls who answered my post merely illustrated my point (very well illustrated, sad to say) that most posts on this forum (in recent weeks) get hijacked and then turned into back-and-forth aimless drivel. (Yes, I am sadly now part of it since I bothered to answer you). BUT, think of this: You have no idea............I might have posted on this forum hundreds of times over many years, helping other Kroger employees with advice , reply, sympathy, agreement or disagreement, or other comment, using different names (or just Anonymous), and btw I do know how to change the font style and size if I feel like doing that. This forum reminds me of an old forum pre 2000's it was compaqsucks.com.
