So lately I been making a real jack ass of myself at Kroger scos. I'm normally the nicest guy in the world, but this so-called 'you have to pay with plastic because covid won't let us have cash and coin' bullsht has triggered me.
So today was extra. Less than 2 hrs before the joint closed for turkey day, I run into this sht again, and I again stand my ground and make the sco cashier cash me out. He was visibly pissed, especially when a group pf chicks got right in line behind me, demanding the same. Dude tried saying he didn't have enough money on hand for proper change, and I told him that was fine, he could fetch a manager and that guy could get it out of the safe. I told him I had allll day.
Here's the thing: it wasn't that kid's fault that Kroger keeps pulling this sht, but it's not our fault that we aint playin ball with this horse sht. It's got me stoked to the point I'm actually enjoying pissing people off there. Which isn't me, but I don't roll over and bite pillows for any one.
Some of you reading this agree with me. Do thoust as I have been doing. Show your ass, and after enough of us have dropped wrenches in the engine, Kroger's gonna chill out on this sht.

I blame these piss poor associates. Its a total scam by them to steal change from customers to try and compensate for their tiny weekly check. I just look at these cashiers with disgust and throw my money on the little table rather than hand it to these thieves. But Im getting some free items every time I shop there so in the end I still come out way ahead.
The store around me do longer have this issue, they actually now have an abundance of change. All the store have been canceling change deliveries, and are not allowed to send any change back to the bank.
Companies can discontinue cash when they choose to. Small companies have already done it. Deal with it.

Exactly. I steal lots from my Kroger cause its easy and its my way of sticking it to those grungy associates. Theyll get less raises and paid less cause of all the shrink and quite honestly they are over paid anyway.
