I wish people would JUST SLOW DOWN! I almost got fender-bended a month ago and numerous times customers (some using their own personal scooters) have almost been hit. What will ot tale tp get these idiots to stop hitting the gas?!?
I've done a lot of cart gathering in my former years in retail. A big reason I refused to do more was because people are dick bags and have no compassion for other people at all.
It's a seriously a good thing I never had my gun on me some of those times or I'd prolly still be in prison.
I saw a customer bump into an employee with his car not paying attention. The employee opened his mouth and said to "watch the f*ck you are going next time." Needless to say, the customer called in to complain and the employee got sent home.
I think they got it backwards. They NEVER EVEN listened to the employee so now the Union is involved.
A few months ago, I was walking back to our Pickup room after grabbing a customer's coupons, and i was in our little crosswalk and this douche in a pickup truck doesn't freaking stop, barely grazes my arm (i was ok) and I just got super pissed. I turned around, flipped him off, and asked him wtf his problem was. I can be quiet sometimes but i have my moments....He starts yelling back saying "how the f am i supposed to get through the parking lot??" I'm still cussing him out saying "this is a f'ing crosswalk dumbass" and then i stomp inside to inform management.
I wasn't hurt, he just barely grazed my arm, but management wanted to first make sure I was ok. If I had been a couple seconds slower he would have blasted me for sure. Or what if it had been one of our other associates? Well they checked the cameras, saw that he was a douchebag and I wasn't in trouble at all. In fact they tried to call the cops on him but the cops didn't care. The comanager who reviewed the camera came back to our room and said "You didn't tell me you flipped him off" while laughing.
