Who the heck thinks it is a good idea to cut our resources like that? With Christmas crazies coming in the store? Idiots! I don't even want to go back. Damned company wants us to struggle trying to have everything both ways on a normal day. Too much chaos, changing everything around all the time, treating everything like a state secret we are all supposed to somehow know.
It was good. Understaffed, but pretty much unlimited overtime. Bosses and corporate breaking union rules to help. We have a manager that treats us like humans for a change.
My store was crazy a.f. on Christmas Eve. They were most worried about crowd control but no one was going for it. They tried to get me, but I stayed well hidden and worked to organize the backroom in case we needed to get more product. When it got real bad they called all hands on deck...you know it's bad when they pull from depts to help bag and check
