Here we get paid extra per hour because covid. Government thing. So hours are cut way down, safety equipment, supplies and repairs no good. Company cracks the whip demanding imaginary stuff. Lot of nerve. Angry.
If anyone hasn't already figure it out, expenses are always cut to maintain profitability. Yes, a business can justify a one time hit, but in the long run they report to Wall Street. Yes, a business needs to follow the local, state, federal law, but nothing stops them from "evolving" their business or labor model. A business will always try to raise prices inline with competition, but if they can't raise prices, cutting expenses it the only way to keep profitability.
Please remember, a company only exists to earn profit and keep earning profit. Hell, part of the total equation isn't just sales and profit, its Wall Streets idea on your business.
