I would not use the low-grade gasoline sold at Kroger in my vehicles. It is better to use "Top Tier" brands like Shell, BP, Mobil, Chevron, Sunoco, Marathon etc. as these have the proper detergents and additives to keep your engine's fuel system and valves clean. Many vehicle manufacturers now specify fuels from "Top Tier" stations, and Kroger is not among them.
I am naturally skeptical about whether this makes a really big difference, BUT the list of gas brands/companies/stations on this article is pretty long.............it looks like it covered most of the places I would go to. I actually like to use Citgo and BP, which are both on the list.

Skepticism is heathy, but when many automakers and AAA are onboard with top-tier fuels, I listen. Check a website called "Bob Is The Oil Guy" for more information about top-tier fuels, as well as forums about motor oil, etc. Some there have mentioned that Kroger purchases fuel from the lowest bidder.

I have seen Florida Rock truck many times at my local Kroger. Have seen the same truck at several other stores in town. Google maps shows central Georgia being out of Macon just like other stores in town. I tried to insert the map image but it does not work. So copy and paste this.
