MANY, MANY years from now Covid may be more like the common cold as future generations develop an immunity to it. But as mentioned, it WILL take a LONG time for it to come to fruition. Or, it may become rare like the Spanish Flu is (supposedly) now.
It all depends on how smart people are and whether they use common sense when dealing with all Covid strains.

People will use any excuse to get more pay. Yes, COVID is a hazard, but there is now more known about it. Everyone has to live with COVID now, how is someone making $2.00 more an hour going to change anything? People fighting for "COVID PAY" have a better chance of getting a raise due to the lack of workforce. Remember some people previously worked 2-3 jobs, if one jobs is now paying more, they might only need 1. Also, will all the senior associates from the 70's, 80's now retiring, the lack of hiring or replacement workforce will only get worse. If you want more pay, use the benefits the company provide, learn a trade, or go to college. You know jobs in the trades make $25+ an hour?

If the company gave hazard pay, their literally would be ZERO profit and no real return for it or additional safety for workers. Kids are committing suicides in shockingly high numbers. People are having more breathing problems by wearing a face diaper for hours on end. Normal human beings crave some kind of face to face interactions. It is not healthy or mentally good for forced mask wearing when the masks have not been proven to make any real difference in stopping the spread of the virus. Especially the fashion-statement cloth masks. Pure theatre.

My brother in law took the Pfizer shot and I think it was the second shot he had some pretty rough symptoms such as being tired weak head ache and had problems breathing like bricks were on his chest his own words. And Im concerned with that part cause I have problems breathing as well. But what choice do I have though?
Few days ago I was reading the news app and a person had to be intubated cause they caught that delta variant. When they ask for the vaccine the doctor said it was too late and they died a day later. HOWEVER, what the news media (most of the media) are not telling you is that nearly 99.9 percent of the people who catch the virus AND have been vaccinated, have a very mild case and do NOT NEED HOSPITALIZATION. If you have been vaccinated you may get the Covid but it will not be serious in the GREAT majority of cases.

I wouldn't say corrupt, but every $1.00 spent has to have some type of return. Lets do some math and see how much "Hazard" pay would be for 1 year, giving everyone an $2.00 an hour. If there are 2800 stores, and the average store uses 4500 hours a week. Weekly that would be an additional $25,200,200 in wages, not horrible, but then multiple that for 52 week = $1,300,400,000 a year. So basically your cutting your yearly profit in half and not getting any additional return. Hazard pay it pay to get people to take positions because they have high danger. Working or being in public is dangerous, what is dangerous is people not listening to educated people and saying its all "FAKE NEWS".

I received the Pfizer vaccine with no Ill effects. First shot my arm hurt and second shot no issues. Actually I somehow felt better. Probably because anxiety level decreased.
