Our fes has pretty much given up on doing their leadership roll. Thrown in the towel a long time ago. Won't quit/move on. Desires the responsibility but does not display the desire to do it. I know kroger su-cks but so long as he shows up for attendance they won't do anything about it. Embezzles their paycheck then bi-tches when the money runes out. When medical issues arise they work rather than taking time off for them. They should of quit a long time ago but continue to work while being miserable. It's getting so bad that staff are loosing respect for them. They're basically just a cashier and not a very good one at that. He/she often has attitude issues and is out medically for weeks on end. A lot of staff have agreed it's time he/she stepped down but he/he won't. If it were not for his/her medical needs requiring health insurance they would of quit a long time ago. Management knows the fes barely does his/her job but won't do anything about it. They've been written up twice for poor attendance. How much longer does staff have to suffer with this? We've been sucking it up for 5+ years. Their 25+ years in the union pardon them from all issues. Sort of bull sh-it. Store lvl won't do anything. Is there someone above that I could bring this to their attention?
That's what's going on. I'ts like working with a zombie that won't move on but enjoys the cushy paycheck. Is afraid to move on because their body requires the medical insurance from this job. They know they'll struggle if they move on. I doubt they'd survive in a "real" job more than 6 months successfully. They're so set into a routine of sloppiness they would have to break them selves of that role before success.
