In WA State I've never seen so many damn customers mad over a bag charge fee.
I've been cussed out so damn much this week it's ridiculous. Having lived in another state that had this for decades then comming here I'm appalled at how cruel and pi-ssy people can be over a small cent fee. They get really rude and mad over having to buy more than one then bi-tch up a storm about why their bag ripped. Good fuc-k if you're too poor to afford a small cent charge you need to wake up and rethink your finances.
You people bit-ched at us when:
We had paper product shortages last year.
When kroger initiated the cash back fee.
When we had to enforce customer limitations for covid.
When we had to close early and you failed to come to the store before 8pm but still tried to slip in but found no way to buy the damn items so you stole them instead.
When employee hrs were cut and you found longer wait times in the front end and found you had to go through self check out more.
When the courtesy clerk hrs started getting cut to the point where you people had to go into the parking lot to obtain a cart.
I keep having seniors cuss me out over a small fee. Go figure it's the same bi-tches that cussed me out about the cash back fee activation back in oct 2019. Soem of them were so bitter their bitterness stayed on me for a whole fu-cken day and a half. Thanks a$$ holes. This sh-it is why I have zero respect for seniors.
I can understand their frustration, but I would simple say one thing! You need to talk to the government officials you elected to political office, they passed the law. People only see this as the retailer charging them, rather then the government decision to eliminate plastic bags and force retailers to charge a fee. If people actually would think they would know this isn't really that much different then a bottle tax. While you will not get $$ back if returning the bag, you can reuse the bag a few times.
Imagine how many plastic bags just get thrown away daily. Such a waste. people need to start thinking of the environment more.
Yup, people normally don't think in the big picture, only their little world. Hell, a box of plastic bags is 2000 bags, that is a lot of trash, not to mention how many boxes a store might go though a day.
