Soon BB & B stuff will be sold through Kroger on-line and later through select Kroger prick and mortar stores. Sad.
If you have ever walked the Non-Foods sections of the store you can see it hasn't been an area the company has focused on. Walk into a Marketplace locations and see overpriced non-name brand non-food items. I actually think that BB&B coming in and doing something will be a good thing. The attempts the current non-foods category managers are making quite pathetic, and the sections def. need a redo. Hell, walk down the promotional aisles and see the non-foods junk that is ordered season after season.
Not surprised kroger just needs to turn into a target so they sell everything. BBB is failing and has had to sold off a lot of their stores. This would be a last draw sort of measure.
Teavana failed and it was the franchise to starbucks that saved them.
