Why you should opt for Right To Work
Permalink

Today's unions are worthless. Ever notice you never see or read of any strikes any where any more? Why is that, because the contracts they agree to and have yall sign are so good and fair? Sheeeeeit.

I work for the United Steel workers and they get a little worse every 4 yrs. The last contract they negotiated and pushed us to approve has been violated by the company 5 times already. We're PAYING these pricks! Why?? To be robbed and raped????

I'm out soon's I can get out. You stick around for more of THIS sht you gotta have rocks in your head.

UFCW is very corrupt. Look at their salaries, and how little they actually do for you. I speak from personal experience.

Exactly right. I didn't know how much so til I started following this forum.

Unions in general are now all but worthless. They and the companies we pay them to fight against sit down and parcel out crumbs for us that the companies have no problems disposing of, and our union reps make it seem as if they 'fought to the blood' to 'collectively bargain' for us.

What bullsh!t.

I think you want the reddit thread r/antiwork.

Work draws income. Eventually you just have to suck up and do a job for income. Any job is better than no job. The u.s. does not have a safety net for poverty. The longer you refuse to do work the more income you are loosing annually. A minimum wage job can draw in as low as 25k annually. If you earn more then you can earn any where from 25k-55k annually. If you refuse to work you earn even less. Even if you're in poverty and understand the po in poverty you still need to work.

Look I've had to work 2 jobs most of my life and I am appalled at the youth of today expecting everything to be handed to them. Then when they enter reality they just up and quit because they don't want to work from the bottom up like their parents did. My 2 jobs guranteed me a livable wage even though I worked my ass off at 45-60 hrs each week. Yes some days I worked both jobs and didn't always have 10 hrs between shifts.

You young people have no clue how to work in todays world nor have zero responsibility for it. If you want income handed to you then get a tech job. Programmers make 60k annually easily in starting jobs.
