Sorry, but if we are 100 percent honest, you have NO POSSIBLE WAY of knowing for sure who you caught your sickness from. And please, please please tone down the nasty language.
Also, maybe you don't realize it, but probably 99.9 percent of Kroger customers do NOT READ THIS FORUM, and most don't even know it exists! They go into Kroger to buy groceries. They don't care about Kroger employees or what they rant about online.
It's common to catch a virus from someone who shows no symptoms. There were probably HUNDREDS of customers (and a few employees) who walked past you that might have had a virus particle or bacteria particle float your way and affect you.
There is no way you can possibly know who it was. Sad that you would pick on an old woman who may be TOTALLY, completely innocent of doing anything at all to you.

And what if you dont have a computer, smart phone or have anyone close by to get groceries for you? Not sorry, but they're still going to come in. And what the 2nd poster said, there is NO WAY for you to be 100% sure you know gave you the virus. Even if there was, there is NOTHING you can do, you caught the virus, all you can do is let it run its course.
Similar incidents happened to me at Disneyland (before Covid pandemic), I'd go there with my cousin and our friends. There was an ABSOLUTE 100% GUARANTEE that I'd pick up something and bring it home. There was not a d@mn thing I could do about it either. Did I blame them? No. Why? Because it is bound to happen. 10s of millions of little kids and there families someone or even a whole group is going to be sick with a cold. Its a 100% guarantee. It would be stupid and pointless to get mad and try and figure out who gave the virus to you.

Pretty sure land line phones still exist. if they Dont have a smart phone then they should go live in a cave or the forest and eat squirrels or deer. walk, drive, ride a bike to the library and use the computer there. Most people have a computer, tablet or phone. Yoire just making excuses.
