As if kroger didn't gain enough millions during the pandemic. Now they're advertising a special boost program for customers. I wonder how many customers will be naïve enough to fall for this scam?
This will create a new level of customers arguing and bi--tching about how they're not getting the lowest possible deal. Cashiers will NOT be able to over ride that price for everyone.
Aside from vague posters put up around the store no information is being offered. If you want to waste time asking a manager they will look nervous and tell you it is great, that's all! No further details needed.
Same deal like always. Your hardware gets infested with Kroger malware and they boost your private information.
I got an email congratulating me for joining. But, I didn't. The email looked like a scam email. I forwarded the two emails to my nephew so he could check the code and he said they are legit from kroger.
He said that I have to opt out of it before the end of the membership. I don't need home delivery or anyone shopping for me.
I am suspecting that kroger paid for my membership expecting me to forget to opt out of it later. Or trying to get me to log in so I can be auto enrolled...
(next day)
I checked my kroger card account and I have been enrolled in Boost. I do like the extra fuel points. I just need to remember to cancel membership in 11 months so I don't get charged $99....
