The longer I do this job the more I can see why my older coworkers that have been doing this job 20+ years are totally miserable. You loose your humanity to this job and become a mindless emotionless robot. Self check out you get treated like garbage by most of the customers and you're even less of a human. 1) I have met employees whom were employed prior kroger purchased more stores. Because that "culture" back then, those employees get special privileges. (Also include your store. Whether it be albertson, safeway, publix, etc)
2) Don't be working too much towards integrity. It's not existent. Older employees told me this.
