Yes people will be pissed. This starts on 9/1/2022. Enjoy the next 3 months of customers being pissed over this. Enjoy. 

Remember your job is more important than loosing your job to a liquor sting. 

Your job is more important than an @$$ hole being a complete total -d--ick over scanning their id.

Just means you get to scan all id's from now on and if it has to be manually entered: 

Well, .... they just get to wait for a manager to come and over ride them. 

 

One benefit of this policy is it will expose all the invalid id's and teach foreigners that they can not use their European driver's license to buy liquor with. Even before this we could not accept it but they tried. Must be a valid u.s. issued id or no sale. Period.

This stupid **** is just gonna boost theft. 

And who's gonna stop em? Security? What a joke. One of the stores here has this skinny kid who spends his whole shift hanging in the foyer scrolling his phone. He is literally getting paid to just stand there living on his Facebook.

This already started a few months ago at my store.

I have never been properly trained on Uscan.  Nearby businesses are doing the same process so its not a big deal to me.

Well youre not scanning my id. You can look at it but thats it. So many cashiers at Kroger are all thieves and scammers. Just like the coin shortage they made up to steal change from customers. Ill get my alcohol either way you crooks!

My job I couldn't care less about but it is the effing fine and legal action towards me an employee that angers me off. I'm a shy people pleaser so it's hard for me sometimes. 

Anyway I'm angry that a good friend got canned for selling alcohol to a minor secret scumbag agent. Losing your job to effing sneaky bastards is not cool. I'm angry for her and I can't do ish because of the stupid laws. I never knew I was against the legal age being so high until my job was on the line last yr.

It's also our word against theirs. It's not like krogers cameras can hear if we asked correctly or can they? I guess the point is to make sure we are really checking the dang ID for fakeness and ish. 

We are good effing ppl and she never got a in trouble for anything and yet we are taken out by sneaky aholes. Especially for cigs I mean if you are effing 20 buying cigarettes wgaf??! You are a grown a$$ adult and should be able to buy the cancer Stix like a dumb$$ . It's not like they don't drill that ish in skool of how bad it is. 

Now if there are any petitions or voting in the future going on to lower the age... I'm all for it Fk

 Thats really ****ty. **** those undercover *******s. customers stealing hundreds of dollars in food every so often but oh no a pack of cigs sold to a person a year under the age. Their gonna get the cigs one way or another.
