Amusing little module on active attack situations.

Triggers loads of delayed stress if you been working here a while but still has amusing stuff. Like a video of a young black male running from the building like he isn't too worried about cops making assumptions. Or the advice, "Run as far away as you can. If you can still see the building you are too close." If you are considering putting in an application you are too close, friends. Or "we value our culture". ? Lots of good advice, I must admit.

Relax. Most people around here are just waking up and quitting this mess. That is one way to "avoid, deny and defend".

Yes, was somewhat humorous.  It's unfortunate that our society has evolved to this point.

Over 12 years ago, I was told to never call the Telxon a gun.  A customer overheard two employees at another store talking about the gun and freaked out.

The previous video was called Active shooter video.  We were told to hide, run, find a safe place.  The police will save us.

2 serious incidents later at Kroger.

Now, it is called Active assailant video.  Same plan except now we are allowed to fight to the death if we have no choice.  Even suggested weapons.

I remember that. I 100% have never stopped  calling them that. Even when they moved to the black and white

And "don't talk to the news media" if you want to stay safe.

In general, we are never supposed to speak to the press about anything Kroger.  Kroger has a PR employee assigned to make statements to the press.
