I would put it first but front end is #1. Dairy is down to 3 people and one person put in their 2 weeks. The other quit two weeks ago. I work grocery and they usually pull me to help dairy out as well as this other girl. Any other person I talked to says theyll rather lick the floor than help dairy
I agree. I'm GMC and they had me work deli. Doing hotcase, slicing meat and cheese, washing dishes, getting salads from the cold case, making sandwiches.
I never knew GMC was able to work deli. Each time I asked ingot VERY vague answers that HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what I asked.
part of me wonders is if they are TOO CHEAP to hire deli people. Wouldnt surprise me if they were.
I wouldnt mind helping deli ON OCCASION if all they had me do was wash dishes, bag hot food and salads from the cold case for customers.

We had an older lady working our deli for a while. They moved her to another dept. cuz she was seen wandering around deli with fresh sh!t stains in her crack. She'd walk in front of the deli case, right in front of the horrified customers, brown stained and stinky.
Long after the fact she confessed to me she'd been doing it on purpose to get out of the deli. She hated it there and they wouldn't let her transfer. So she played the retard card and combined it with being a bio-hazzard. Fairly brilliant, actually.
Sounds Like The Dairy At My Store. From The Little Info I Have About Hours, 2 Full Timers Use All Of The Hours Given To The Department. Even Though It Makes More Than Meat. And They Never Have Less Than 3 People In There At Any Given Time.
And dairy isnt bad, just a bunch of bs processes that stupid corporate comes up with to justify thr job. they didnt give 2.f.u.c.k.s. about my store during 2020/2021 and now all of a sudden even with stupid profits we make they want to b.i.t.c.h abaout everything small.

I would agree Front End being # 1 with lazy asses not wanting to help courtesy clerks out with the lot. And management not wanting to get an electric cart pusher like Walmart has.
Or a pusher like target it would definitely help since all our c.clerks are high schoolers and we have one whos unique and they push her left and right. Shes 45 years old but look in her early 20s
