Anyone have solid information on this local Kroger store closing? What day will the store actually close for good? I'm assuming it is doing this because Kroger Corp doesn't like smaller, more personalized, downhome, friendlier stores with better service.
They want them HUGE, BUSY, overcrowded, unfriendly, packed with customers, dirty, unorganized, and with all the employees generally unhappy and underpaid.

Is this the one located at 3400 Grant Line Road? From google maps looks to be a very small store. I bet the small stores are better. But Kroger does not see it making a profit.
