Over the past couple of years you've made so many dam policy changes that affect customers you have literally made customers dic--ks to us. This sh--it is getting old and every 4 months or so you enact a new change that makes customers verbally harass us and this b.s. needs to end!

Covid - mask policy - failed to enforce 2019-2022
Covid product limits - 2019-2021
Covid rain checks - 2019-2021 disabled rain checks. That was hell. Though it did help break some bad habits customers generated.
Covid no reusable bags 2019-2020 - During this 1.5 yrs we were unable to use customer bags and it sure the hell pissed people off.
(my state) passed a plastic ban law 2021- Thus charging for bags and banning single use bags at register. This is still pissing people off.
Covid store hours- frequently changing store hours. Even with back to full hours now (2022) stores are still struggling and you're acting like nothing has happened. Hours have been decreased so much store's cant operate to the degree they once use to.
Covid product stock issues. Even well after covid stores are still struggling at keeping product stock up. I cna't tell you how often I get people cuss me out because we ran out of a liter sale item or a favorite product of theirs.
Forced scan id policy Aug 2022. This really pissed people off kroger. It is illegal to force someone to scan their id against their will yet your store policy says we must or no sale. I can not tell you how many people this is still pissing off. The ones that are most offended by it are the ones that are the conspiracy nutters that have authority issues.
This is all part of why I just steal everything now.
Just got a gal of ice cream last night. Before the plan-demic? It was just under $5. Now it's just under $8.
Everything in this country now is about giuging people for more money. That 'state ban on plastic so we're charging for bags' is a classic example. Ha. I have a full drawer of bags, hundreds, that I draw from when I go 'shopping'.
After every trip I put aside the cash diff of what I woulda paid into a savings fund. I'm never gonna get rich, but this 'Best Practice' is part of how Ima keep my head above water.
