Not sure about you but I'm tired of seniors (55+) cussing us out over the scan id policy. It's here to stay and it's permanent like it or not. You don't need to act like @$$ holes over it.
If you fellow associates get cussed at so much once I'd suggest to refuse the service of liquor sales. We do not show up to work to get cussed at over such a so called "minor inconvenience." Deal with it you people are no longer exempt to the by-passing rule.) The new rule is anti discriminatory. If you people so much tamper with your license to make it not scan-able we can refuse sale as well.
If you intentionally strip the bar code on the back of your license that is called tampering with. And we can and will refuse service!
Punched id's are damaged id's and thus can not be allowed the sale of liquor.
Expired id's are not allowed. Sorry even if it's a day expired not allowed.
If you failed to drive to the store without your id well, hun that's not our fault.
Seniors that have their id expired by 5+ years that's not our problem. I can't tell you how many seniors have been driving with an id expired by more than 7+ yrs. Good lord just renew it online. Oh, wait you probably don't have the tech skills for it. Didn't get it in the mail: well go into your closest dmv. Can't go in? Call the damn location and ask them to mail you a renewal. There's tons' of options.
