This is hilarious and fantastic news. Krogers are next in line for this treatment as well. This city is such a shit hole. Nothing but absolute lower life form savages that live here. Place has technology from 40 years ago. Mostly blacks that lived here and they are just destroying this area with crime litter drugs. The women here are so ugly. escape from new your scenario needs to happen here.
Where I live we had 4 stores. The oldest one shut down 4 yrs ago due to theft---it had been here for sixty years.
The theft was so profound and non-stop that by the time they finally woke up and placed 'measures' to stop it (one punk kid standing by the doors scrolling his phone and a fat old man literally asleep on the job) corporate in Cinci. just said fk it and pulled the plug.
Since then the whole plaza it was in cannot find another such retailer to replace the Kroger store, and the rest of the dwindling number of businesses there are all local ghetto sht holes. Another 2-5 yrs and that whole mall will fold.
My prediction for all these places is they're gonna have to convert the stores to warehouses and become curb dash, where you online order in advance and they deliver it to your car. This current scenario will not continue to support the physical store model.
I probably don't have to describe to you what an economic disaster that will be as all those jobs are lost.
Theft has always existed.............but the plandemic has absolutely blown it up, as the super rich corporations have very deliberately set this price gouging reality in motion. They're using every fake-a s s excuse they can create to justify it, and they WILL NOT EVEN CONSIDER lowering their goddamn prices. Thet's what you need to believe and understand. This is the fault of the corporations and their share holders.
And until something is done to reverse or at least freeze their greed from getting worse, it's going to continue being a grim picture for those of us just trying to do our shopping.
