No, I'm serious. For 12 yrs we've put up with this kid being a mean little sob to the staff and now he wants a job. Good lord. Due to his autisim he'll scoot the system and we just have to sit there and take it. I'm high functioning and I was never a dick to people. Good f* if management says yes to him at age 17 I'm transferring to another department. I highly doubt management will say yes to this jerk because he's caused commotion for a decade at our store.

Legally according to dshs law they must allow him the opportunity to apply but they do not have to accept his resume. 

Trust me when I say this: He would be horrid at even simple courtesy clerk work. I've seen him try to mimic it and trust me there is zero way I'd accept him as a bagger at my checkstand.

My store has hired autistic kids like him before and they're generally terminated because the job is above their abilities. 

2 yrs ago one was terminated for theft from the till and merchandise.

1 yr ago another was terminated for job abandonment for refusing to do their duties then "pretending' to work while on the clock and doing it willingly and even admitted it to management.

Been a while but I've worked with another one at my last store that knew she was disabled and pushed the system to the limit which eventually got her terminated. Eventually management only gave her 1 shift a month for job abandonment. It took 2 yrs to legally fire her but they finally terminated her. 

These people shouldn't be praised. Just because someone is disabled or low functioning doesn't mean that they should get away with what ever the hell they want. I'm highly functioning and I never stole, never abused the system and have been ethical my entire life. Karma. Karma is one of God's gift to the universe. What comes around goes around and eventually people are called out on their bull sh--it. Matter of when not if.

I use to have the up-most respect for seniors and autistic/disabled people but with years working in general retail and grocery; I have lost ALL respect for these two groups. how can I respect someone if there's nothing to respect? You can't.

 NO. These tards are not entitled to anything. Either do your job or gtfo. Maybe they should apply for product testing. The damage wouldnt matter and would be minimal at best.

The company may want to take advantage of him while showing everyone else how much of a damn they give and dare the poor customers to complain if he really sucks. Punishing you, the worker, as always. Also, you may see a lot more 'unemployables' working for the K if there are lots of jobs available in decent companies.  NO ONE NEEDS KROGER.
