I'm just glad I work a job that lets me call out for a few days here and there. I have zero faith left in this company and won't risk coming in due to snow or heavy storms. I will no longer risk going in when the roads are covered in snow. If my store allows multiple people to skip a week straight of work due to snow. Year after year after year... I they can skip that much work then I can too. If they enact the attendance protocols they just go to the union and file a grievance and get their jobs back.
There were a couple of snowstorms with iced over roads during the winter weather that went through my area. And I live in the country. So if they enacted such protocols, I would tell them to send a helicopter. I don't care what people say about four wheel drive. Ice and rubber don't work together.
Just ask NORAD. Plan ahead and stay safe. Try not to be shopping or working in these stores. All regorK brands and their partner companies. Patronize decent companies for a better future.
