Employees at my store are quitting like flies in the front end, tired of dealing with the bull sh--it the customers bring, in addition to being demeaned and belittled all the time. I've frankly gotten more respect working my side department job in three weeks than 10 yrs as a cashier. My position is still vacant and customers on frequent occasion are finding only one or 1/2 a cashier (call up fill in) that will leave when the line/rush is done. You the general public has pushed me around and harassed me out of the front end. I had to file a grievance with the union because the store manager was holding me for ever as a cashier and allowing others to transfer/move around. While I was being denied the opportunity to do so.
Leads: If you want your staff to stay be kind to them as well. Don't be dicks or aff holes. Treat them with respect and back them up when a customer is being a mean nasty little sob over as-sin-ine reasons.
Listen to scheduling requests. I can't tell you how many staff left because they were denied vacations, holidays and simple day off requests to go do something.
Cussing at a cashier is a no and shouldn't even be allowed. Customers should be forced to leave even if one swear slips.
When a customer is a bi-tc-h to the employee they should be asked to leave.
Customers need to be start being told: No you can't always have your way. This society is so friggen spoiled that they've gotten so use to getting their way they're nothing but spoiled little rich brats. When you pamper a society to become this you get what you reap. Now that we're on about the third generation of this b.s. behavior it's only getting worse.

WRONG! Us customers dont have to adhere to such associate nonsense. Youre there for one reason and one reason only. To satisfy our needs! Look, we contribute to your tiny weekly checks daily. If I want to call you a c u n t smeller then I will do so! We are entitled to such things.

Working here has driven me to alcoholism. And alcoholism is preventing me from getting a better job. And it's not even on purpose from any party. The worst part of all, actually. Rodney didn't even do it on purpose, or else there would be a discount.
I'm having a hard time. Booze is cheap. Not as cheap as fent, but opioids constipate me and I'm uncomfortable smoking blues off tinfoil.
The other worst part is that it turns out there's so many children, retards, and government beneficiaries that the addicts are hung out to dry. It's a fight and a half. Speaking of halves, I'm earning half a living wage.
