I have been at the Fuel Center for 10 months (transferred from inside the store) and this is some of the crazy stuff I have witnessed:
1. Customer masturbated in front of me
2. Customer complained that her "card didn't work at the pump" "But I am only trying to get $20 out!"
3. Same customer on Tuesday night comes up to my window and says "Do you know your t shirt is on backwards?" This was after he tried to flim flam me on change-he always gives me more money than what his total is and tries to confuse me-it never works
4. Stupid customer almost had his car totaled by our fuel truck because he parked in the same area-our fuel driver has the loudest horn!!
5. Customer let her 8 year old pump gas (it is illegal in this state)-we ended up with a major fuel spill
6. Customer smoking at the pump-told him to put the cigarette out "because I want to go home alive tonight!"

#2 Simple customer ignorance or in rare circumstances a senior citizen honestly not knowing.
#3 Just show them the "I honestly could care less if it's on backwards look."
#4 Customer stupidity at its finest
#5 Same as above except thr mother will get mad if you tell her not to let her kid pump her gas
#6 Customer will activate their 'Karen or male Karen' mode for saying this. They may even go 'Hyper-Karen' which is the worse Karen mode. Even Karen's will avoid Hyper-Karens
How do you not know how to pump gas at 8? I could.
Probably because they're kids... why would you let a kid at the age of 8 pump gas? If they make a mess or get gas all over them then it's a safety and health issue.
Plus, somehow it would be the "clerks fault", NOT the fault of the IRRESPONSBLE parent(s)

Stop being a baby. Any kid with brains knows not to get gas on them.

I just want to know is 5 and 6 the same person? Parent smoking while child pumps gas and child spills the gas. Or maybe the child was smoking and the parent pumped gas and spilled it?
And # 4 that truck driver is just an idiot. He should have waited until the car moved. Maybe the Attendant was not doing his/her job. A loud horn? How loud was it?
Fuel station attendants are like garbage workers. They are very vital to society yet get treated like cr--ap. I did a 6 mo summer job once as a tween and absolute despised it. I think I walked and refused to pick up my last check.
I recently got out of cashiering due to constant customer verbal haras--sment. it took a toll on me and developed into full blown anxiety attacks. Something I did not have before I started to work as a cashier. Our front end keeps loosing people like flies because of two abrasive b***itches that keep getting staff to quit left and right. These are the types of coworkers that will have zero problems throwing you under the bus but due to union protection they keep their job. Management changes about once every 2-3 yrs so by the time management sees the b.s. they do and why staff can't be kept corporate scoops them up and sends them off to another area. Thus allowing these people to continue to slip through the cracks and be repitious in their nasty nature.

I worked for WM for many years, doing every thing there (except make $$), and the one thing I refused to do, no matter how hard they begged, pleaded and even threatened, was cashiering.
I know myself. No way I have the capacity to be locked into a fixed position like that, hours on end, and have to take all the c u n t o m e rs sh!t.
