In a nut shell kroger's policy to customers is kiss their aff while still minding the policies and regulations of the company. I mean say for example: If someone wants a one or two time price over ride for a digital or outdate tag: yes. If the customer is asking for price over rides every time they come home: no.
If a customer is requesting a reasonable accommodation that complies to the regulations and policies of the company: Yes. If it violates a regulation or policy: no.
I mean karens are a part of this job. If you're an aff hole each time you come in, bicker with staff, harass staff over little details, aren't well liked by staff: We'll honor it to the degree the rules allow but not go further than that.
If you treat staff with kindess then we're more apt to honor reasonable requests.
Abuse of all sorts is pretty normal. Some managers are conniving, sneaky company operatives, others love to constantly yell nonsense orders. Partnering with really evil customers usually happens if they do indeed need you to run screaming and never return (for no apparent reason LOL). Makes a good example, in case anyone might be considering standing up for themselves.
Anonymous' "In a nutshell.." comment also rings true.
