A young dog got loose from its owner and ran straight into our store looking for playmates. This dog was super friendly and bounced at anyone who even looked at it. We tried guiding the dog back outside but he ran back in. Our security guard tried leading him back out and by thus time it's owner came to get him. On the way on running to the owner he was almost hit by a car because the a$$hole driver/customer wasn't paying attention. I yelled.out "Hey! The dog!" And they STILL kept going. The dog's owner finally got their dog and I said somempeople must be blind to not see a dog. (It wasn't a small.dog) I guess the driver must have heared me because their windows were down. They decided to 'park' a few ways up and go into thr store. I forgot about it and 30 min later I was informed that I had a complaint. Apparently the person heared me and "got offended" (poor snowflake) that I said that when THEY were the one that nearly ran the dog over.
The acting manager at the time (our manager was is off at a meeting) decided that I should go home for the day.
Fine by me...I just hope he knows how to do Picklist and that he was 3 more orders for pick up coming his way at the same time. I heared the ping notification on the handheld that let's us known of arrivals.
You're one of those grumpy guys----not old yet, but fast on your way. Your co workers probably don't actively dislike you, but they don't welcome you to social gatherings, either.
You've been with Kroger for years, hate every minute of it, constantly have a gripe about something----but by god, you're not gonna leave. Nope. Just gonna bitch and moan about everything anyone will listen to out of you.
At some point----sounds like maybe pretty soon---they're gonna sack your ass. If it weren't for that ridiculous union youda been gone long ago. But when you are finally outa there, you'll be still bitching about it for years to come.
Because guys like you find no joy or satisfaction in anything. Which leads to another life-long issue you have now and will always have......you ain't had p u s s y since p u s s y had you.

Can you go a day without complaining?
Can someone actually make a legitimate post without it going into troll comments? Mega has a point. Kroger parking lots are like the friggin' NASCAR circuit. Not much difference.

It's not trolling to call someone out on their bullsh!t. And as is being pointed out, bullsh!t is all Mega Kitty is good for.

Has anyone noticed that the trolls are complaining about Mega complaining? Oh, the irony. And Mega is right. The self-entitled snowflake should have been paying attention instead of passing blame for their stupidity.
If the dog is off lease it is the owners fault. I had one run out of a vhiecle and had to break check once. Traffic tail gates and this aff hole almost caused a 20 car pile up. Legally I would of not been responsible because the child just opened up the car door and the dog ran across the street lighting fast proven by the dash cam. The owner would of been 100% responsible and yes i would of sued.

Is she ok? Stupid dumb@ss people dont know how to pay attention driving. And knowing Kroger, they'd probably side with the customer if your co-worker so much as even hinted displeasure at being hit.
I've heared complaints from idiot customers that grazed people's legs or bumped into them while the idiots were behind the wheel.

Well isn't that why this forum is here? Would you prefer it if people only made posts about how they "made it right" for a customer or uplifted a fellow employee? People come here to vent, not to talk about how everything at Kroger is rainbows and unicorns.

Ok, then let's vent about all the DUMBASSES in here who keep missing the point:

Understand this. You dont matter. your job is easy to do any one can do it. You should be written up and apologize to the customer. The owner should learn how to keep a hold of an energetic dog as such.

No hes not. Its a road not a park. Keep better hold of your pets and there wont be situations like this. Good on the customer for about this unruly associate
