Working 16 hours in 24 hours

So recently I've started doing tags from 12 to 830 on Wednesday mornings. I usually have Tuesday before off, which isn't an actual day off since I have to be at work at midnight Wednesday. That bothers me, but whatever. Next week they have me scheduled Tuesday for 730 to 330, then I leave for 8.5 hours and come back at midnight. This is not something I signed up for. Is this OK for them to do? Essentially I'm working 16 hours in a 24 hour period.

I wish I could get those kind of hours.

I'm tired of pawning things and donating plasma to make rent.

I just hope Rodney and the shareholders are doing ok.

So long as there is a minimum requirement of 10 hrs between shifts it's legal. If not please go to your union. I use to get the bs of pm close am open and vise versa. I went to my union rep and talked to management.

I keep getting slapped with 6-10 day work weeks. I'm on a third week of 10 days in a row. I'm calling out in the middle of this one. My attendance has been good lately. I don't care i'm calling out. Glad union says we're entitled to one call out day a mo without questions. My store keeps working staff to exhaustion.
