my job put me on schedule for Tuesday and its my off days. However I did tell a member of management and he texted another manager bout it. I told that manager I can go in wednesday instead. Is that ok?
Holiday week all schedule restrictions = off. Even availability. Yes it sucks.
This is past over due but when this happens you need to communicate with them and tell them No. If it's not the day before a holiday just call out if your attendance be good. If you frequently call out time and time again for them violating your availability maybe find a new position within the company that will honor it.
I never called out besides the two times ( one for my grandfather death and the other was my aunt death). I told management the day before because they waited till sunday to print the schedules!
