I'm so sick of these Karen and digital coupons. Once the digital is used you cannot use it again. Kroger needs to get rid of digital coupons and just start doing minimum purchase deals because the digital coupons give customers lead way to have delusions about their entitlement that they think they have.

YES!   In fact, I actually tried to send an email to Krogers Fraud dept about this very issue. (KPFRisk@Kroger.com).  But the email got rejected due to possibly being spam or something.

anyhow, here is what I TRIED to send:

E-Coupons.  Are we as associates expected to give customers the e-coupon when they dont have access to a computer, dont know how to use them or took a picture [of the QR code]?

I can understand the e-coupon not going through even when you KNOW its on their card.  Ex: you show/help a customer with their phone, use the camera-scan feature to find and clip the coupon and use the correct Alternate ID, only to find that the coupon will not register.

Technology errors I can understand.  Human error I can understand.   What I am confused on is the customers EXPECTING us to give them the savings.  Ive been advised to just give it to them, but in my personal opinion all those give it to them money adds up.

In addition, we do not know if these customers have actually clipped the coupon or if they are just saying they clipped it.

So again, if a store manager or CSR tells a cashier to just give them the e-coupon, is that still allowed under the unwritten make the customer happy rule?  If it is or isnt, please write back to me with the answer.

Thank you for your time.
