I got hired to work picklist and I have a question:
I know we are times on getting the order out to the customer but sometimes I see the 'rejected substitutions' notice on thr Zebra handheld. It shows what items have been rejected. However sometimes these are on large orders and I don't really have the time to fish through the entire order to pull out the rejected items. Will I get into that much trouble if I just ignore the rejected item (marking the items as "misplaced") or just scan out the order and say the item was "removed?"
Our store is BIG on hand-offs in a timely manner for the customer. We use to be not great on timely handoffs and lately we've been doing along better because I've been scanning out the entire order including rejected subs (when the order has rejected subs). Luckily the rejected subs are not that expensive nor are they frequent. Another picker price matches so that reduces our out of stocks and decreases reject subs because it shows that we "have" the items in stock and do not need to sub that given item.
