Ive just retained full time status and requested to have a couple days off, I was told that I would still have to come in an extra day to work 32 hours for the week to obtain my full time. Is this true and if so why do so many people have a week off at time with no penalties?

That's absolutely true.  Talk to your local UFCW.

The union is here for YOU, not for Kroger.

Please share your correspondence.
