About 4-5 days ago I posted a pic on reddit of how messed up our walk in freezer is and how the designated pick list area has been taken over by frozen. They had all frozen product piled messing in our area. I signed up using a fake email (that was not confirmed) and a username. I could still sign on and post. Today I came in and there was a rumor going around saying I posted the mess on reddit from what a co-worker told me. I was sus.
I denied it saying I don't even use reddit (I did post it because I was pissed. We lost a few frozen orders do to their mess.) Then later on today, I deleted the post and my account. I double checked as a lurker, and could no longer sign into my account. The post is still there, but my user name says deleted. Is there a way they could find that it was me despite me deleting my account? I didn't even use my real name.

I mean some people with some know how and who want to make a real effort can. But Kroger employees dont possess such IQs so youre safe. You shouldnt have deleted though cause now it looks more su. Just tell those people I said I dont use Reddit now unkindly fk off. Who cares what they think

Honestly you shouldnt have deleted it. Now it more sus for you. You shouldve kept it opened but maybe changed the formatting of saying not saying what department you worked.
If anyone sees it deleted it will raise their suspicions even more. EVEN IF you do not have any info in your bio. One min it's there, next minute after someone let you know...its ...gone.
While they may not be able to trace it back to you, you WILL sus EVEN MORE SO.
Why post something like that on REDDIT? You had to have posted your district foe them to zero in and identify their frozen area.
Next time refrain from posting pics concerning work on reddit. There is ALWAYS someone that is a member on reddit that works the same store you do.

Kroger can't prove a darn thing as to whether or not you made that post. Even if it had your full name and your store location, you can still deny it and say someone else is trying to frame you. For future reference, if you post a picture from your store, make sure there are no identifying marks such as store numbers showing.
I read reddit often and can't remember seeing your post. I just scrolled back 2 months and didn't see any freezer posts.
Stick to your story of denial. Don't talk about it with anyone and avoid the subject. Google Streisand effect. Sure, the government could probably find you but I am under the impression that kroger might see the posts but ignore them. I try to be cautious about what I post online because AI could find a pattern and figure out who I am. There was a handheld game in 2003 called 20 Questions. I consider it pre AI. You think of an object in your mind and it tries to guess the object with 20 questions. It was freaky accurate.
I have seen posts from 2 coworkers on reddit and know exactly who posted it but won't say anything to anyone. One posted a rant with pics. Is it funny to see how they think even if it is self centered and selfish.

I have one of those. It's not always correct. I take issue with term, "Artificial Intelligence". Intelligence requires conciousness and imagination. The device is simply a computer program where the response to previous questions determines the next question. Also, there's a set number of questions and answers stored in the device. If you choose "Other" as the category, the first question is always, "Do you hold it when you use it?"

I learned from an fake union shop steward, just deny it. You will win it. The fake union shop steward left the company but it was undisclosed reasons.

No apology necessary. I wasn't just talking about the device. There's no such thing as artificial intelligence. No matter how remarkable something might seem, it's still just computer code. The media can call it artificial intelligence or A.I. all they want, but that doesn't make it so.
When you post pictures online you pretty much give away your work location and where you work. Be careful. When you story tell only you and those involved would know who it is. If one of them figures it out you're screwed. Start a new account but under a vpn. My family uses multiple reddit accounts on the same computer and reddit kept banning us because they kept thinking we were one individual. Nope.
