Hai,

What are your thoughts on Kroger and Albertsons' divestiture deal? Do you believe it will successfully preserve supermarket jobs and maintain competition in the grocery market? Share your insights on the potential impact on employment, market competition, and consumer experience.

Thank You.

I think Kroger and Albertsons' divestiture deal could have a mixed impact. While it aims to preserve jobs and maintain competition, there's a risk that the divested stores might not perform as well under new ownership, potentially leading to job losses. It could also reduce competition if the new operators can't match Kroger and Albertsons' scale. krogarfeedback.org/

I don't think it is going to go thru-but that opens up the possibility of another company going after Publix even though I think they are a privately held company and not traded public on the stock exchange

Itll just let Kroger bump up prices because theyre eliminating other places to go. And the workers arent gonna be given a single penny more than whats legally required.
