Putting down my foot on my availablity.

This started out as a health insurance job <25 hrs a week and after several years of being short staffed forced me to full time hours. Sorry but I am changing my availablity down to 4 days a week.

That is what I had to do to get my Saturdays off. We used to have a scheduler that would DENY all requests for time off. He got demoted to cashier when he denied a request for someone on an urgent doctor's appt and all hell broke loose. He ended up transferring to another store.

That's one of the reasons I prefer E-schedule to Mytime.  With E-schedule you could put in a reason as to why you needed the time off.

Sounds like a guy that I worked with. He denied me personal time off that was urgent. I went anyway and he threw an almighty fit. I proved to him that it was legitimate and said threw my write up into the shredder in front of him. Hr was NOT happy....but he could do nothingm
