I am trying to calculate my years of service of 24 years and how much my payout will be .I called the pension office up to see if I could get a statement well the lady over the phone was very rude .I haven't hit the retirement age but I have been having medical issues and under the pension bylaws I can take a disability retirement with 20 years of service done past that point and if I can get 2 doctors sign off and a award letter for SSDI without any penalty. The lady refused send me a statement which I understand they are required to by law I think. It's not like Social Security you can just login into SSA and they give you a estimated benefit.
