Got scammed by a regular lady who is always price bartering. She caught me off guard and fell for it. Generally I am familiar with our regulars but it has been a while since I interacted with her. Keep your guard up as these people will bounce on an ounce of kindness and they could care less unless it benefits them. Remember to follow kroger's rules and if someone is getting a bit grabby limit them to the minimum of what the company expects.

Working grocery and retail for most of my life has no longer made me believe the sob stories these people squabble. Some are legit but most are not. There are programs out there to help you....

Same with ASSociates. most of them the younger ones Lie cheat and steal from the company and customers. Cashiers used the chain shortage excuse to steal change from customers. Disgusting. a lot of them steal time by being on their phones and taking excessive bathroom breaks or hiding some where with another and fagging off. A majority of them also smell like sweet sweaty ASS. Just the common day trash associate in this day and age.

My motto is trust nobody.  If something seems off, call for a supervisor just so you can have someone there to back you up.
